SUMMER FUN DAY 2024 (Y3, 4, 5 & 6)

What is it?

Summer Fun Day will be taking place on Thursday 18th July 2024. This year, we are combining a day of bouncing and inflatables with our exciting Summer Disco.  

Where and When is it held?

Summer Fun Day will take place at Ivy Chimney School. 

Here's the breakdown of the day: 

• During School:  Time on the inflatables for each year group.
• After School: Summer Disco with inflatables for everyone.

Disco times:

• 3.30pm - 4.30pm for - EYFS, Year 1 & 2 
• 4.45pm - 6pm for - Year 3, 4, 5 & 6

How much does it cost?

• Full Day (including Disco): £10 per child - tickets are available to buy online only.
• Daytime Only (no Disco): £5 per child - tickets are available to buy online only.

What else do I need to know?

• It's a non-school uniform day - dress for the fun day. 
• Children should wear cool summer clothes and have suncream applied beforehand.
• Snacks and squash/water will be provided but children are welcome to bring their own named water bottle to refill during the disco - no energy drinks please. And no mobile phones - the same school hours rules apply.
• Reception and Y1-2 children will be taken to the disco after school by the teachers/FOICS volunteers.
• Y3-6 will need to be dropped off at the school gates outside the reception classrooms.
• Pick up is from the gate outside the reception classrooms. It will take some time because we need to make sure that the children are being picked up by the appropriate adult. 
• For those who attend afterschool club: Reception/Y1-2 will need to be collected from afterschool club, unless Loretta is otherwise advised. Y3-6 will be taken to the disco from afterschool club.
